At the age of five years she joined Kathanga Primary School where she did her primary school studies until class eight in 2011. While there she realized her capabilities and potential in academics’ and emerged the best student. She was to join a national school but couldn’t make it due to financial constraints. She finally ended up going to a nearby school Maua Girls Secondary School. While there she developed more passion for her studies. She performed well and emerged the best girl in the district after the KCSE in the year 2015. In 2016, she joined Egerton University Njoro Campus where she is pursuing Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology. She is greatly determined to gain more knowledge on her field of study. However, she encounters a lot of financial constraints in her career journey. She thank RUFORUM through the TAGDev program for tuition fee support she received from the program. She believes that there is always a way out for a hardworking and determined person. While on Campus, she has greatly developed her capacity to serve the society by being engaged in DAFTECH Club activities and other activities organized by the institution. Her goal and vision in life is to make an impact in the world by contributing to solving many food problems that the country has currently and also to impart lives of young people positively through setting up various avenues that can help them develop themselves.
