Students under CARP+ Projects

Yousif hamed dldom (Sudanese) was born in 1994 and grew up in the East Sudan (kassala city). He is a Master of Science student in Water Management and Irrigation Institue  at university of Gezira. Yousif has a Bachelor of agricultural Sciences (Agricultural Engineering) from University of Gezira (2013-2018). He is currently second year, RUFORUM CARP+ project scholarship beneficiary, pursuing a Master in Water Management, with major focus in family drip irrigation



Emtnan Daw albait is a Sudanese who graduated from Sudan University of Science and Technology with a second class upper bachelor’s degree in Horticultural Science 2014. She is currently a second year, RUFORUM CARP+ Project beneficiary, pursuing a Master in Horticultural science at University of Gezira with a major focus in vegetable production. Emtnan has a many training Experience in Ministry of Agriculture and irrigation (Botanical Garden) 2013, Shambat Center for Agricultural Training, Green house management 2015, Medicinal and Aromatic plants and Traditional Medicine Research Institute, National Center for Research 2014. She later joined to the Agricultural Research Corporation (sudan) as assistant researcher in Horticultural crops Research Center, Nov 2017, Vegetable crops _ onion and sweet potato program. Her Agricultural background is very good and she believes in her ability to persuade the farmers to change their way of thinking about the outcome of her research and other researches

Asged Babiker is a Sudanese, who graduated from Sudan University of Sciences and Technology with bachelor’s degree (upper class division 1) in Agriculture in 2017. She is currently second year, RUFORUM CARP+ project scholarship beneficiary, pursuing a Master in Horticulture at University of Gezira. With major focus in vegetables production. Asged trained in ministry of Agriculture and Forest (April 2015), Ministry of Interior Commerce (2016) and Agricultural Research Corporation (May 2018- May 2019).



Esrra Mergani Osman She was born on the 26th of December 1994, in Sinner, and then she has been live in Wad Medani. She graduated from Blue Nile University, Bachelor of Honor in Civil Engineering (First class 2012-2017). She worked at the Hydraulic Research Center in wad Medani during the national service period (October 2017-November 2018) and then as a trainee at Sudan Pile Company for Roads and Bridges in White Nile Projects (September 2018 – December 2018). Now she study Master at the Institute of Water Management and Irrigation, University of Gezira specializes in water management, with a full scholar ship Funded by RUFORUM under MINI CARP+ project. The research of the Master will be about water harvesting and exploitation for agriculture in rural areas and design application irrigation from the catchment.


Hala Abdalrhim Abdlla (Sudan). Hala was born in 1994 north kordofon state, west Sudan, an area where a major area of production of economic crop and livestock. She was graduated from the University of Dallanj with a B.Sc. honors in Agriculture extension & rural development (Upper class Division 1) in 2014. She has worked for ministry of agriculture and wealth animals and irrigation provide a technical skill to farming communities, these helped to see the gap in agriculture extension. She is currently pursuing a master of agriculture extension and rural development at University of Gazira under the RUFORM /2018/CARP/70/+a project. My passion for researching in agriculture field is to provide a sustainable solution and recommendation for increased food security to the ever increasing population. Hala aspires to become leader in ministry of agriculture to be able to design agriculture policies that will help the country
