RUFORUM SCARDA and SCAIN Resources

SCARDA (Strengthening Capacity for Agricultural Research and Development in Eastern and Central Africa) was a three-year collaborative project, funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID), which was carried out by RUFORUM, the Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in Eastern and Central Africa (ASARECA), the West and Central African Council for Agricultural Research and Development (CORAF) and the Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Directorate of the Southern African Development Council (SADC-FANR).  SCAIN (Strengthening Capacity for Agricultural Research for Innovation) was a follow-up project to SCARDA, with the objectives of identifying, commissioning, and disseminating information to show how capacity strengthening for agricultural research leads to measurable and sustainable impact.  This collection contains abstracts, briefing and discussion papers, and reports.
