Professor Adipala Ekwamu (Ugandan) is the Executive Secretary of the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM), a consortium of African Universities that provides research and postgraduate training opportunities for students and faculties in Africa. He provides overall leadership in the running of the RUFORUM Secretariat.

Miss Judith Nakyobe

Ms. Judith Nakyobe (Ugandan) is the Finance and Administration Manager at the RUFORUM Secretariat. She joined the Secretariat in 2013 and previously served as the Management Accountant at the Secretariat. Judith holds a BSc in Computer Science and is a Chartered Accountant with full membership to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU). Judith has led the implementation of the computerized RUFORUM financial management system called NAVISION.

Dr Egeru Anthony

Dr. Egeru Anthony (Ugandan) is the Manager – Training and Community Development, an eight year project funded by The MasterCard Foundation to strengthen the effectiveness of university contribution to development through skills development particularly entrepreneurship of talented, motivated and disadvantaged youth in Africa. He previously served as Assistant Grants Manager at RUFORUM Secretariat, Lecturer at Makerere University and a secondary school teacher at Merryland High School, Entebbe.

Dr Francis Otto

Dr. Francis Otto (Ugandan) is the Manager – Knowledge Hub (K-HUB) at the RUFORUM Secretariat. He joined the Secretariat in 2018. Francis has more than 15 years’ experience in Higher Education and IT/Telecommunication sectors. Worked for over 7 years at the Uganda National Council for Higher Education (NCHE). Dr. Francis Otto obtained a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom, MSc in Computer Application Technology in 2007 from Central South University in P.R. China; and a BSc.

Mr Adriko Godfrey

Mr. Adriko Godfrey (Ugandan) is the Administrative Assistant of the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM), a consortium of 119 African Universities that provides research and postgraduate training opportunities for students and faculties in Africa. His major role is to plan and execute administrative affairs of the Secretariat, he also coordinates and maintains inventory of assets including supplies and equipment.

Miss Meri Siaka

Ms. Meri Siaka ( Ghanaian) is the internal auditor at RUFORUM Secretariat, her responsibilities entails ensuring that RUFORUM's risk management, governance and internal control processes are functioning effectively. Before RUFORUM, she was a Manager at KPMG in the assurance unit where she managed both financial statements audit and other assurance engagements.

Dr. Hatim Mohamed Ahmed Elamin (Sudanese) is the Technical Specialist, Youth Skills Development and Community Engagement at the RUFORUM Secretariat.  Dr. Elamin has more than 12 years of experience in academia, research and education. Reginald Doodu Donkor (Ghanaian) is the Systems Accountant at the RUFORUM Secretariat.  Reginald is a chartered accountant and tax practitioner. He is a member of The Institute of  chartered Accountants, Chartered Institute of Taxation, and Institute of Internal Auditors, in Ghana. He has over 5 years experience in the field of Accounting, Taxation, internal controls and organizational re-engineering.

Miss Wivine Adidja

Ms. Wivine Adidja  (Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)) - Technical Specialist - Staff Development and Academic Mobility. She has served in higher education as a fellow at the university at the Institut Superieur de Development Rural (ISDR/Bukavu),  Universite Libre des Grand Lacs ( ULGL/Bukavu) and Universite Evangelique en Afrique (UEA) for five years and brings this experience into the RUFORUM Secretariat.

Dr. Florence Nakayiwa (Ugandan) is the Deputy Executive Secretary - Planning Resources Mobilization and Management,  she  joined RUFORUM from Makerere University where she has been the Director of the Planning and Development Department. She has over twenty years’ experience in the higher education sector in Africa. She brings vast experience in institutional development in higher education, policy engagement, development partners’ collaboration and partnership development and networking to the RUFORUM Secretariat and its wider network at large.

Dr. Alice Mutiti Mweetwa  ( Zambian) is the Deputy Executive Secretary - Programme Development and Implementation, she joined RUFORUM from University of Zambia  where she worked  as the Deputy  Director for Research and Post Graduate Studies of the University of Zambia (UNZA), a position she held since 2017 and was the immediate past Deputy Dean for Post Graduate Programmes of the School of Agricultural Sciences.

Mr David Martin Amitu

Mr. David Martin Amitu (Ugandan) is the Technical Specialist - Systems Administration at the RUFORUM Secretariat whose main role is to develop ICT proposals, generate ICT policies and to oversee the day-to-day operations of the RUFORUM's Information Management System (RIMS) . Miss Juliet Aweko (Ugandan) joined the RUFORUM Secretariat in April 2015 as Program Officer – Human Resources and Procurement. Mr. Waswa Moses (Ugandan) is the Technical Specialist Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning at the RUFORUM Secretariat. He comes with over 5 years experience in Agricultural development with emphasis on participatory approaches such as Monitoring and Evaluation.
