University of Liberia

The University of Liberia (UL ) is a publicly funded institution of higher learning located in Monrovia, Liberia. Authorized by the national government in 1851, the university opened in 1862 as Liberia College. UL has four campuses: the Capitol Hill Campus in Monrovia, the Fendall campus in Louisiana, outside Monrovia, the Medical School Campus in Congo Town, and the Straz-Sinje Campus in Sinje Grand Cape Mount County. 

University of Development Studies

The University for Development Studies (UDS) is a public university located in Tamale, in the Northern Region of Ghana. It consistently ranks as one of the top four universities in the country. Established in 1992 by the Government of Ghana, its purpose is to accelerate the development of Ghana's north, and the broader nation. The legislative instrument that founded the university is PNDC Law 279, which was gazetted on May 15, 1992. UDS is the fifth public university established by the Government of Ghana.

University of Cape Coast

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) is a public collegiate university located in the historic town of Cape Coast in the central region of Ghana. The campus has a rare seafront and sits on a hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It operates on two campuses: the Southern Campus (Old Site) and the Northern Campus (New Site). Two of the most important historical sites in Ghana, Elmina and Cape Coast Castle, are a few kilometers away from its campus.

Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU), formerly Cape Coast Polytechnic was established in 1984 as a second cycle institution.
