Women of Uganda Network

The Women of Uganda Network (WOUGNET) is a Ugandan non-governmental organization dedicated to aiding women and women's organizations in the use of information and communication technologies.  WOUGNET focuses on using mobile phones, e-mail and the web, and is interested in the integration of "traditional means" such as radio, video, and print in a way that enable wider outreach.  WOUGNET works on agriculture in a number of ways, including the Kubere Information Centre (KIC), a multi-dimensional information center offering development-oriented information, with an emphasis on agricultural and rural development information
