Our Role

Building Africa's Largest Agricultural University Network

RUFORUM has established itself as a strategic partner of choice, with numerous partnerships and Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) in place across regional and international institutions. Building on this strong foundation, RUFORUM will further consolidate its position as a leading strategic partner in Africa by actively engaging in an expanding range of multi-stakeholder collaborations. These partnerships will focus on driving transformative systems change in higher agricultural education (HAE), both across the African continent and in collaboration with institutions in the Global North.

RUFORUM supports networking and coordination activities through its Secretariat based in Kampala, Uganda, including Annual General Meetings, Triennial Conferences, Principals and Deans Forum, Vice Chancellor's Forum, Ministerial Round Tables, National Forums, Webinars, Exhibitions and Development Partners Meetings, and Higher Education Days.
