Duke Moseti Isanda

Duke Moseti Isanda is a student at Egerton University main campus Njoro. He was born in 1998 at Mwamanwa Sub-Location, Nyatieko location, Kisii County. He grew up in the village, joined Geturi Alliance for his primary education where he got 330/500 marks. He joined Nyatieko school where he got a B+ (67 points) in final examination. He later joined Egerton University in 2016 where he is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture with tuition fee support offered by RUFORUM through TAGDev Program at Egerton University raising his hope of completing his studies by May 2020.

He loves reading journals and being part of the solution in any problem. His interest has always been being a role model to others in the society and being able to do everything diligently in providing solutions to problems that face societies especially in the Agriculture sector. Duke has served as a student leader in high school and has shown good leadership skills in various places including the church. He is planning to pursue a Master’s degree in crop protection pathology option and later Doctor of Philosophy in Pathology because his interest has always been coming up with appropriate measures that can reduce crop diseases and enhance food security
