Organizations of Type "African University Repositories and African Repositories in the Agricultural Sciences"

Many universities in the RUFORUM network have established institutional repositories and the number is growing.  In this collection you will find entries for these repositories as well as for repositories established by African organizations pertinent to agriculture.  In addition, in collaboration with the Royal Tropical Institute of the Netherlands, the Association of African Universities (AAU) has taken the lead in helping African universities establish scholarly archives.  The program has created an excellent institutional repository toolkit and holds periodic workshops.  There is also an excellent resource list with links to readings on open access principles and software
