Professor Gabriel Ayum Teye  holds BSc. (Hons) Agriculture, 1991 and MSc. Meat Science,1996 from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Kumasi, Ghana. PhD in Meat Science and Technology 2005, from the University of Bristol, UK. Working in the Department of Animal Science, University for Development Studies (UDS) Tamale, Ghana since 1996 as a Lecturer to 2006; Senior Lecturer, 2006 – 2010; Associate Professor 2010 -2014 and Professor 2014 to date. Currently the Vice Chancellor of UDS. A fellow of Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences, member, Ghana Animal Science Association, Ghana Society of Animal Production, Ghana Science Association and Alumni of Commonwealth Scholarship Commission. Currently a member, National Council for Tertiary Education, (NCTE) Ghana, He has over 130 publications.
